Activities and school trips
The Dutch Section offers much more than just lessons. Throughout the school year, we organize cultural activities, study trips to the Netherlands and Flanders, and special events that strengthen our community.
Study trips to the Netherlands and Flanders
A highlight of the school year are the study trips to the Netherlands and Flanders. These trips strengthen the connection with the Dutch language area and provide unique learning experiences.
🇳🇱 Primary School Trip
Annual multi-day trip to the Netherlands for primary school. Visits to museums, cities and typically Dutch attractions.
- • Anne Frank House, Amsterdam
- • Rijksmuseum or Van Gogh Museum
- • Kinderdijk or Zaanse Schans
🇧🇪 Flanders Study Trip
Secondary school trip to Flanders. Combination of culture, history and Flemish language and traditions.

- • In Flanders Fields Museum
- • Flemish Primitives
Every year we organize a special literary evening where students present their creative work: poems, stories and plays in Dutch. A celebration for young and old!
Cultural activities
Throughout the school year we organize various cultural activities:
- Theater visits: Dutch and Flemish performances in Paris
- Museum visits: Exhibitions featuring Dutch artists
- Author readings: Dutch and Flemish writers at school
- Reading contest: Annual competition for the best reader

Connaissance du Monde
In the lycée, our students participate in the unique subject "Connaissance du Monde" – a research project where they independently study and present an international topic. This develops critical thinking and presentation skills.

Parent participation
Many activities are made possible by volunteer parents. From supervising outings to organizing the Sinterklaas celebration – the involvement of parents makes our community unique.
